Sizinda Youth Centre


Mission Statement:
To provide an effective and efficient service by developing young people mentally, physically, spiritually and morally through leisure time so that they may grow to full maturity as individuals and useful members of the society.

Vision:
Young people advance to maturity and become responsible members of the adult community through the close involvement with the adult community demonstrated by a wide range of activities like games, sports, art and crafts, public out reach, programmes exhibitions, youth festivals, drama competitions and community services.

Motto:  
Youths today parents tomorrow, let us channel their wisdom and energy into responsible activities for responsible citizens.

Peer Education:
Peer Education focuses on providing youth with up to date information on reproductive health issues. There are group discussions, interpersonal interactions with the peer educators. Youth centres have peer educators who have been trained in peer education, counselling and are equipped with basic information on ASRH adolescent sexual and reproductive health. peer educators are between the ages of 10 to 24 years old
